We’re looking for a Stock Controller to join our Operations team in Bradley Stokes, Bristol and play a key role in keeping our

stock accurate, organised and moving in the right direction.

Working as part of a small, supportive team, you’ll help ensure that the stock recorded within our systems matches what is

physically available across our warehouses and factory. From carrying out stock counts and investigating discrepancies to

monitoring stock rotation and maintaining accurate records, you’ll be right at the heart of keeping our operation running

smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

As our Stock Controller, you’ll take ownership of accurate stock information across raw materials, packaging and finished goods.

* Carrying out weekly physical stock counts across warehouse and factory areas.

* Accurately recording stock quantities, lot numbers and use-by dates within our systems.

* Investigating stock discrepancies and working to understand and resolve the root cause.

* Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed.

* Identifying and reporting any stock mis-rotations to Planning, QA and Operations.

* Making stock amendments and corrections where required.

* Working closely with our Warehouse team to maintain excellent stock integrity.

* Reconciling warehouse and inventory information, including negative stock, disposals, material consumption and put-away

records.

* Communicating with Shift and Zone Managers to coordinate weekly stock counts and labour requirements.

* Maintaining accurate, clear and audit-ready documentation to support full traceability.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Ideally, you’ll bring

* Great attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

* Good literacy and numeracy skills.

* Strong communication skills.

* Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

* A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.

* The ability to use your own initiative when investigating stock discrepancies.

* Good English communication skills.

* Basic IT skills – previous experience using stock or warehouse systems would be an advantage.

* Previous knowledge or experience of a warehouse environment would be desirable.

* An FLT/EPT licence would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 knowledge would also be beneficial.
