About this role
The post holder will provide senior clinical expertise across multiple complex paediatric dermatology services and acute dermatology settings, supporting safe, efficient and high quality care for patients with severe chronic inflammatory and blistering skin diseases. The post holder will work under consultant supervision and alongside the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver tertiary complex peadiatric dermatology clinics.
Duties and responsibilities
Clinical
The postholder will, together with colleagues, be responsible for the provision of dermatology services to the Guys & St Thomas
NHS Foundation Trust to include
Diagnosis and treatment of children with skin disease, as well as adults and children with genetic skin diseases (in-patient and outpatient settings) To be an active member of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to children with skin disease and patients with genodermatoses as part of the extensive tertiary referral service To provide continuing clinical responsibility for the patient in your charge To support specialist outpatient clinics (paediatric dermatology, genetics, paediatric allergy & general adult dermatology) as well as collaborating with clinical nurse specialists working in the service *** Please be advised that this vacancy may close early should we receive a sufficient number of applications ***
