Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Anaesthesia

Applications are invited for Clinical Fellows in Paediatric Anaesthesia to start in February and May 2027. The posts are for a fixed term of 6 months with possible extension to 12 months, subject to post availability and satisfactory appraisal. The posts are suitable for anaesthetists with a minimum of 5 years experience in anaesthesia (ST6-ST7 equivalent) and are intended for anaesthetists who want to gain further experience in the sub-specialty area of Paediatric Anaesthesia. The posts would also be suitable for more experienced anaesthetists wishing to gain post-CCT experience. The successful applicant will gain experience in all areas of paediatric anaesthesia undertaken at Evelina London Children's Hospital, including paediatric cardiac anaesthesia and neonatal surgery. The post holder will also participate in the full shift rota (1:8), which includes Long Days, Nights and weekend shifts. You must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a License to Practice. The post holder will have regular contact with children and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
