Porter/Cleaner

We're looking for a Porter/Cleaner who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Role Responsibilities

-Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order

-Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules

-Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used

-Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training

-Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service

• Clean offices, toilets, kitchens, corridors, stairwells, and common areas.

-Maintain high standards in toilets and washrooms, including sanitising fixtures and replenishing consumables.

-Empty bins, segregate waste, and keep disposal areas tidy.

-cleaning — Support periodic deep cleans, carpet spot cleaning, and kitchen sanitisation.

-Attend spills, leaks, and urgent hygiene issues promptly.

Porterage Duties

-Internal deliveries — Assist with receiving, sorting, and distributing parcels, mail, and internal deliveries.

-Furniture moves — Support office moves, rearranging desks, chairs, and small equipment as required.

-Room setup — Prepare meeting rooms, training rooms, and event spaces (chairs, tables, layout changes).

-General assistance — Help staff and contractors with access, directions, and basic support tasks.

-Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
