Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (35-hour week with flexible start and finish times)

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly respected financial services organisation to recruit a

Pension Administrator to join their friendly and experienced team based in Liverpool City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with pension administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll be joining a business that genuinely values its people and offers the chance to take ownership of your own portfolio of clients.

Working within a close-knit team, you'll manage a portfolio of

pension clients from

cradle to grave and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the client journey. You'll build strong relationships with clients, advisers, and third parties whilst delivering a high standard of service and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Candidates with experience in

SIPP, SSAS, or Defined Contribution (DC) pension administration are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of SIPP pension clients from onboarding through to ongoing administration.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, financial advisers, and third-party providers.
  • Process pension transactions accurately and efficiently in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer SIPP investments and pension-related documentation.
  • Ensure all client records are maintained accurately and compliantly.
  • Liaise with HMRC, investment providers, solicitors, and advisers where required.
  • Monitor and progress cases through to completion, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support team objectives and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of pension legislation, HMRC rules, and FCA requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience within

Pension Administration is essential.

  • Experience administering

SIPPs, SSAS, or Defined Contribution pensions is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of pension legislation, HMRC regulations, and FCA requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A team player who enjoys working within a supportive and professional environment.
