* Supporting a multi-skilled approach by undertaking associated tasks such as basic plastering and joinery where required.

* Working at height using appropriate access equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety

requirements.

* Managing your workload effectively, planning jobs and using materials, equipment and resources efficiently.

* Working to scheduled appointments, liaising with customers and colleagues to complete work within agreed timescales.

* Diagnosing repair issues, identifying the most appropriate solutions and making informed decisions in line with company

procedures.

* Using mobile technology and IT systems to receive work instructions, update job records and order materials.

* Maintaining company vehicles, tools, equipment and stock levels to ensure you can work safely and efficiently.

* Building positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and clear communication throughout each

job.

* Working closely with planners, schedulers and other teams to ensure repairs and maintenance activities are completed smoothly.

* Following all health and safety requirements, company policies and quality standards while working in customers' homes and

communal areas.

* Supporting apprentices and trainees where required and taking part in ongoing training and development opportunities.

What we’re looking for

* Min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting and Decorating or a related discipline.

* CSCS card at the appropriate level.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Time-served apprenticeship.

* Strong experience in painting and decorating, building maintenance and construction activities.

* Experience of associated trade activities and multi-skilled working.

* Good customer care skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

* Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

* Flexible approach to varied duties and changing priorities.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
