Duties of a Service Technician

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnose faults, and identify components requiring repair or replacement
• Assist with general mechanical repairs as needed, ensuring high standards of workmanship
• Maintain accurate records of jobs undertaken and workshop documentation
• Work efficiently within a team to meet deadlines and deliver excellent customer service
• Ensure all work is completed to comply with legal and safety standards

Requirements of a Service Technician

• Level 2 automotive qualification recognised within the industry; Level 3 qualification preferred
• Previous experience as a Service Technician or Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various makes and models
• Reliable, motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Full UK driving licence is essential
