The Deputy Head of Information Services is a pivotal role within the Information department, responsible for ensuring the Trust excels as a data-driven organisation.

The post holder will

Workto builds data engineering solutions that can move data between systems/platforms. Contributes to the capture, transformation and loading of data. Ensures this activity is undertaken in a timely manner to facilitate and support the submission of information for monitoring Trust activity as well as statutory/contractual returns. Has responsibility for ensuring that the data for clinical and operational analytic and reporting needs are consistent, accurate, and timely to enable the delivery of the Trusts clinical strategy. Has responsibility for providing data and data models to support analytics and insight generation in response to ad-hoc requests and special projects where specialist input will be required. Proactively engages with colleagues and other key contacts to achieve a shared understanding of information requirements and support the development of effective working relationships. Provides oversight and advice on all data models used by the wider information department. Responsible for optimisation of the complex data processes and data design to provide a satisfactory user experience (internal and external to department).
