Full-time Security Officer

We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Enhanced DBS Security Officer to uphold the safety and security of our premises based in Woking.

Duties

Carry out a full Lock Up of the premises ensuring all building and locked and alarmed

Carry out a full unlock of the premises ensuring it is ready for business

Perform regular external patrols of the premises to ensure physical security measures are maintained and hazards are addressed

Manage access control procedures, verifying staff, visitors and contractors,

Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary

Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage in accordance with company policies

Experience

Proven experience in security operations, preferably within a educational environment

Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail in surveillance footage and physical surroundings

Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally

Valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance or willingness to obtain one
