About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a client living with
Motor Neurone Disease
in their own home in South Croydon. You will be working as part of a dedicated team on a
2:1 basis
, ensuring the highest standard of clinical and emotional support.
Service User-Specific Information
The client has two young children, so we are looking for someone who is energetic, engaging, and comfortable in a family-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities include

Complex Manual Handling
-
Suctioning and Cough Assist
-
PEG feeding
, Ventilator, and Nebulizer management
-
Supporting
non-verbal communication
via eye-gaze technology
-
Tracheostomy Care
( training provided )

Personal and pressure area care
-
Supporting daily routines and emotional wellbeing
You'll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Key Requirements

Minimum 6 months of professional care experience.

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
