Project Manager — London

Steeldeck Rentals designs and installs bespoke temporary seating and staging for events across the UK and Europe, from depots in London and Manchester. Seating for the National Theatre, stages at Glastonbury, structures for the BBC, ITV, ExCeL, Pinewood and the Royal Albert Hall.

We are looking for a Project Manager to run jobs from first enquiry to last truck out, based at our South Bermondsey depot. You will own the client relationship, design the structure, price it, plan it and lead the crew who build it. It is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one.

You will be the client's first call, turning briefs into buildable, safe designs and quotes covering equipment, transport and crew. You will carry out site surveys and produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements, plan delivery with our Operations, Warehouse, Crew and Driving teams, and lead on-site crews, scheduling the work, looking after their welfare and keeping health and safety standards high. You will also spot opportunities to grow accounts and put new kit and services in front of clients.

Salary £45,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience, plus overtime, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Evening and weekend work is required, especially over the summer, and the role involves travel and staying away when the event demands it.
