Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a growing and evolving business? My client is continuing to invest in its finance function and is looking for hardworking, resilient, and customer-focused Credit Controllers to join its established Credit Control team.

Following the implementation of a new finance system, this is an exciting time to join a business that is driving improvement, enhancing processes, and creating opportunities for ambitious finance professionals. You'll become part of a large, supportive team that plays a critical role in managing cash flow and building strong customer relationships across the business.

The Role

Working within a busy and fast-paced credit function, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, reducing aged debt, and ensuring payments are collected efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
  • Negotiating payment plans where appropriate.
  • Allocating cash and reconciling accounts.
  • Supporting month-end reporting activities.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve collections performance.
  • Contributing to continuous process improvements following the recent system implementation.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are

  • Experienced in Credit Control, Collections, or Accounts Receivable.
  • Confident communicating with customers at all levels.
  • Resilient and tenacious when managing outstanding debt.
  • Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Comfortable working towards team and individual targets.
  • Strong team players who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and committed to delivering results.
