Consultant Paediatrician with interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology

There will be 3 clinics every week: 1 general and 2 diabetes. These will be in Stoke, Wycombe or Amersham Hospital to cover the needs of the patients in the South of the county. Dr Dutta covers the Diabetes and Endocrine service for patients in the North of the county. The post holder will be Paediatrician of the week (POW) and Neonatologist of the week (NOW) totalling 7 on calls a year. There will also be attending weeks for the Childrens Observation Unit (COU) and the number of these will be 1-2 weeks / year. During these days s/he will have no other clinical commitments. The post holder will have resident duties covering Twilight shifts from 16:00-22:00 within the Childrens Emergency Department. This will be a weekend twilight shift to cover the Friday to Sunday evenings for 4 weekends a year to ensure that college standards for facing the future are fully met.
