About this role

We're looking for an efficient, friendly, and approachable administration assistant to join our user insights and experience design team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management of our user feedback systems and processes. This includes the NHS Friends and Family Test survey.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team’s activities. You will contribute to improving how we collect and respond to patient feedback across all our locations, helping to enhance patient satisfaction and overall experience. You will also help us to support patients to give their feedback, ensuring we collect from as many people as possible. Strong communication is at the heart of everything we do, and you will be part of a team that is dedicated to ensuring patient voices are heard and acted upon.

  • To liaise with participating wards/department who collect patient experience data and ensure that the data collected in each area is correctly mapped to the area.
  • To visit wards and departments on a regular basis to resolve simple technical issues and upload data as required.
  • To enter paper surveys onto the patient feedback database system.
  • To ensure that all data is accurately entered and accounted for within definitive timescales to meet required reporting deadlines.
  • To check and audit paper surveys on a monthly basis.
  • To greet patients/clients and visitors in a polite and respectful manner that promotes their sense of dignity at all times.
  • To provide staff with a helpful and courteous support service and aim to resolve the problems in a timely manner.
  • To have active input in the review of work instructions/protocols for the

department.

  • Provide cover for colleagues as appropriate.
  • Comply with written standard operating procedures and work practices.
