About this role
You must be fully registered with the GMC, hold License to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage. The post holder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal convictions. As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends. The successful appointee will be expected to work as required across all of the Trust sites. The job plan is anticipated to contain 10 Programmed Activities per week on average to be carried out on Guys & St Thomas sites, including RBHH and community sites and includes on-call commitments. This is an outline programme (subject to refining) and you will be expected to discuss and agree a detailed job plan including your personal and professional objectives with your Clinical Lead/ Director within 3 months of your start date.
