Senior Psychologist Practitioner Are you a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist looking for an exciting and rewarding senior role in the development of a new adult ADHD service. NELFT's Adult ADHD Service is seeking an exceptional clinician to join our growing specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the assessment, treatment, and ongoing support of adults with ADHD while helping shape innovative, high-quality psychological services across North East London. The Role You will

Conduct specialist ADHD assessments and diagnostic evaluations Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT Support adults experiencing ADHD alongside anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring mental health difficulties Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and expert advice across services Supervise qualified practitioners, trainees, and students Lead service improvement, audit, and research initiatives Contribute to specialist ADHD training across mental health services and partner organisations This role offers the opportunity to influence service development and help shape the future of ADHD care across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest. About You We're looking for a warm, compassionate, and experienced clinician who is passionate about improving the lives of adults with ADHD. Whether you're a Clinical Psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist. Holding BABCP-accredited CBT qualification would be advantages, but not essential. You'll bring a strong track record of delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention, along with the confidence to work with complex mental health presentations. You'll enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, be keen to share your knowledge through supervision and training, and have a genuine interest in helping shape and develop services. Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to person-centred care, continuous learning, and making a meaningful difference for the communities we serve.

You'll be someone who

Has substantial post-qualification experience in ADHD, cognitive disorders, or related mental health services. Enjoys building therapeutic relationships and helping people achieve positive outcomes. Is confident in assessing and managing complex mental health needs. Values teamwork, collaboration, and shared learning. Wants to contribute to service development, supervision, and innovation.
