Acting Nursery Manager – Maternity Cover (Immediate Start)

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and inspiring Acting Nursery Manager to join our team on Salusbury Road in Queen's Park (NW6) for a maternity cover position. This role requires an immediate start, so we are looking for a confident leader who can hit the ground running, manage daily operations smoothly, and support our dedicated team of early years educators.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established manager, or a highly experienced Deputy/Third-in-Charge looking to step up into an acting manager capacity within a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day operations, administration, and compliance of the nursery setting during the maternity leave period.

Leading, mentoring, and motivating the staff team to maintain high-quality childcare and education.

Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, EYFS statutory frameworks, and safeguarding policies.

Overseeing staff rotas, daily room ratios, and parent communications.

Cultivating strong, trusting partnerships with parents, carers, and external local authorities.
