Nursery Deputy Manager (Morning or Afternoon Shift) – Level 3 – Hammersmith, London

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Hammersmith, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager looking to progress within an established early years setting.

The role involves supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery while ensuring high standards of care and education in line with the EYFS Framework and safeguarding requirements. You will work closely with staff, children, and parents, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

This position offers a choice of

Morning (7

30am–1:30pm) or

Afternoon (12

30pm–6:30pm) shifts, making it ideal for candidates seeking flexibility.

Key responsibilities include supporting daily nursery operations, mentoring staff, maintaining safeguarding standards, assisting with SENCO responsibilities, planning engaging learning activities, building positive relationships with parents, and ensuring outstanding childcare is delivered at all times.

Salary

£28,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).
