Practice Nurse

Provide general nursing care including

Injections and immunisations (including childhood and adult vaccinations) Undertake cervical screening in line with NHS Cervical Screening Programme guidance Support management of chronic diseases such as: Asthma COPD Diabetes Hypertension Coronary heart disease Carry out health checks and screening programmes (e.g. NHS Health Checks) Provide travel health advice and vaccinations. Recognise, assess, and refer patients with deteriorating health or safeguarding concerns Promote healthy lifestyles including smoking cessation, weight management, and physical activity Provide advice on diet, exercise, and disease prevention Support self-management of long-term conditions
