MOT Tester – Staples Corner

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician or MOT Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Staples Corner, North London. Applicants must have previous MOT testing experience, hold a valid MOT testing status, possess a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Saturday 8

30am–5:00pm, with the option to work Saturdays permanently and take Mondays off

MOT Tester Role

• Carry out MOT tests accurately and efficiently
• Complete vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
• Identify defects and additional work required during inspections
• Communicate MOT results and repair requirements to Service Reception and Workshop Control
• Complete all required quality inspections, administration and MOT records accurately
• Maintain high workshop housekeeping and safety standards
• Deliver consistent quality while working at a productive pace

MOT Tester Requirements

• Previous experience working as an MOT Tester – essential
• Valid MOT testing status – essential
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – essential
• Previous workshop experience within the automotive or motor trade
• Ability to complete MOT tests efficiently without compromising quality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Right to work in the UK
