MOT Tester

We are currently seeking a motivated MOT Tester to join a well-established automotive service centre located in North West London. The successful MOT Tester will play a key role in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance, offering a steady work environment with career progression opportunities.

• Competitive basic salary of £34,000 per annum, with an OTE of up to £38,000
• Monday to Friday working pattern, 8am to 5pm
• One in four Saturdays (8.30am to 5pm), with a weekday off in lieu

Duties of a MOT Tester

• Conduct MOT inspections in line with industry regulations and standards
• Ensure vehicles satisfy safety and road-worthiness requirements through thorough testing
• Maintain precise records of inspections and repairs performed
• Clearly communicate findings to customers and provide technical advice
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
• Support team efforts to deliver excellent customer service and vehicle care

Requirements of a MOT Tester

• Valid MOT Tester certification
• Proven experience performing MOT tests to industry standards
• Sound knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
