Mags is a friendly, calm and easy-going lady who is looking for a positive and patient Personal Assistant to support her day-day and help her to enjoy the things that matter most to her.
About Mags
Mags lives with on-going pain which can make everyday life challenging. Some days she may need a slower start or a bit of extra encouragement to get going. On better days, she enjoys:
• Getting out for a drive
• Sitting in the park when the weather is nice
• Attending appointments
• Spending time in the swimming pool, where movement is more comfortable
Mags also enjoys regular massages on a Wednesday’s and attends a wellbeing group on Thursdays.
About the role
As Mags Personal Assistant, you will provide both practical support and gentle encouragement, helping her feel confident and supported in her daily life.
This role is for 12 hours per week (exact days and times will be discussed at interview. The rate of pay is £14.45 per hour.
Your role may include
• Helping with simple meal preparation
• Changing bedding and light household tasks
• Shopping support, including loading and unloading items
• Providing encouragement and motivation to get out and about.
• Supporting with personal care including showering and moisturising
Mags can drive her own car but may benefit from support to feel confident leaving the house and engaging in activities.
About you
This role would suit someone who is

• Comfortable supporting someone in their own home
• Able to build trust and offer support in a gentle person-centred way
Experience supporting people with health conditions or mental wellbeing is helpful, but what matters most is your approach, attitude and kindness.
