Personal Assistant required.

Are you someone who enjoys keeping active and helping others achieve their goals?

A friendly and motivated female wheelchair user, living in Glasgow's West End, is looking for a Personal Assistant to assist her in maintaining an active and independent lifestyle. She wishes to maintain a regular exercise routine and values having the right support to help her continue doing so.

This role is ideal for someone who has an interest in health and fitness and enjoys helping others.

About the role

A key part of your role will involve supporting exercise and wellbeing activities, including

· Supervising and assisting with home-based exercises (no experience required)

• Accompanying and assisting with sessions at the local gym
• Accompanying her to therapy and exercise classes

You will also provide practical support in and around the home, including

• Light housekeeping
• Food preparation
• Organising cupboards and drawers
• Assisting in the garden
• Recycling
• Shopping errands

About you

You should be

• Reliable, organised and trustworthy
• A good communicator with a friendly approach
• Flexible and adaptable
• Interested in health and physical wellbeing

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous. Living locally would also be beneficial due to the flexible nature of the role.

Hours and rate of pay

• The position offers between 5 and 10 hours per week.
• Hours are flexible and will be agreed with the successful applicant, likely spread across two afternoons each week.
• The rate of pay is £14.45 per hour.
