Audiology Technical Officer - Audiology

Please see attached job description for full details of this role. This post is clinical where post holder will be running independent hearing aid repair clinics. This post also include (but not exhaustive to) administrative duties such as reception and telephone duties and organising clinics and appointments. There will also be a requirement to undertake timely and efficient co-ordination of hearing aid and operational stationary stock control, including sending and receiving hearing aids for repair and refurbishment. Liaising with other services and stakeholders and ensuring up to date and accurate record keeping of all related paper and computerised documentation is maintained. Where identified, training will be provided to perform with distance supervision some additional clerical and clinical tasks such as providing counselling advice, impression taking, and performing a telephone follow-up service.
