Key Responsibilities

Handle third-party vehicle and property damage claims: manage all aspects including investigation, negotiation and resolution.

Investigate liability

work with other departments and conduct own investigations to determine fault and liability.

Manage complex files

more advanced cases including high-value claims and those with liability disputes.

Work with credit hire claims

assess and manage credit hire aspects including validation, negotiation, and challenge of excessive hire charges.

Liaise with external parties

solicitors, insurers and accident management companies.

Identify fraud

recognise and escalate potentially fraudulent activity for further review.

Prioritise workload and team duties

organise own caseload while supporting wider team responsibilities.

Provide excellent service

consistently high standard with all parties to the claim.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years' motor claims experience required to be considered for the upper end of the salary range.

Third party or credit hire experience strongly preferred.

Excellent customer service and computer skills — confident across multiple systems.

Active listening and relationship building.

High attention to detail and sound judgement on liability.

Holds or willing to work towards the CII Certificate — fully funded and supported.

GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

Package
