Dumper Driver in London (3-Month Contract)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dumper Driver to join our team for a 3-month project in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 3-ton dumper machine in a basement environment and assisting with general labouring tasks when not operating the machinery. Responsibilities

• Operate a 3-ton dumper machine safely and efficiently in a basement setting.
• Assist with general labouring tasks as required when not operating the dumper machine.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the dumper machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience operating a 3-ton dumper machine, preferably in a basement or confined space environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to perform manual labour tasks when required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Day-to-Day

• Operate the dumper machine to transport materials within the basement area.
• Perform labouring tasks such as moving materials, assisting with site setup, or other duties as directed by the site supervisor.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on the dumper machine to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
