About this role
In this role, you won't just manage datasets; you will own and deliver the Highways and Transport Data Strategy. Your mission will be to manage, analyse, and visualise transport and highways data to directly shape service delivery, inform strategy, and guide key decision-making across a variety of projects and programmes within both boroughs.
What the successful candidate will be expected to do
Own the Highways & Transport Data Strategy by indexing all digital data assets and maintaining accurate GIS mapping layers.
Use SQL and Python to extract and clean large backend datasets, replacing manual extraction with automated dashboards.
Turn dense transport data and traffic surveys into clear, highly visual reports for a variety of audiences.
Upskill internal project managers to build analytical capacity, as well as collaborating with external bodies like Transport for London (TfL) to maximise data opportunities.
Work directly with Highways and Transport project managers to unpack their problems, gather data requirements, and independently run analytical projects from start to finish.
