Cleaning Technician
London
£29,906 per year
40 hours per week – 8:00am to 4:30pm
We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our team working at Blackwall Reach Estate in London. You will join a team of 5 to delivery grounds, caretaking and cleaning duties across the development which consists of 11 buildings, a play area and grounds. We are looking for a reliable team player who can deliver a high‑quality service that meets the needs of our customers. The role will be a mix of team and lone working.
The role of
Cleaning Technician will include
- Identify and report any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
- Maintain stock levels and ensure requisitions are completed and authorised in a timely manner
- Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures, serving as a first point of contact
- Assist customers and respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet their expectations in accordance with service standards
- Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives
Skills and experiences
- Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C GCSE English and Maths
- British Institute Certificate in cleaning services or willing to work towards
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
