The role is a Senior Resident Involvement Officer

• Deputise for the Resident Involvement Manager and support the resident involvement assistant responsible for administering the Resident Board.

• Lead the delivery of resident involvement and engagement, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and provides the necessary evidence.

• Promote co-production, ensuring residents are actively involved in shaping services and improvements.

• Work across Housing and the wider Council to deliver the Resident Involvement Strategy and hold teams accountable for their actions.

• Work with external partners and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to resident engagement and service improvement.

• Monitor and evaluate resident involvement, including tenant and leaseholder participation, and demonstrate how resident feedback has influenced and improved services

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To deputise for the Resident Involvement Manager.

• To lead and manage an officer in the administration and support of the Resident Board.

• To deliver the resident involvement and engagement service in line with the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards and provide the evidence of this.

• To deliver a resident engagement service based on co-production and in line the Council’s broader engagement strategy and style of delivery.

• To work with other teams in housing to deliver the resident involvement strategy and the action plan. Holding others to account and providing guidance as needed.

• To collaborate strategically with other council departments and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to delivering the resident engagement and service improvements

• To monitor and evaluate the impact of resident involvement activities involving tenants and leaseholders across the council’s housing service.

• To demonstrate that the council has incorporated the feedback from residents in the improvement of the service.
