Personal Assistant needed (G33 Area)

Support Angela to live independently at home

Angela is a friendly, creative woman who lives independently in her own home. She enjoys a quieter lifestyle and loves spending time on her hobbies, including sewing, crafts, drawing, listening to music and watching her favourite TV dramas and soaps.

With a background in graphic arts, Angela has a creative flair and enjoys expressing herself through artistic activities. She is looking for a caring, reliable personal assistant who can provide practical support while building a positive and respectful working relationship.

About the Role

This is a rewarding role to support Angela to with her daily routine, helping her remain comfortable, independent and able to enjoy the activities that matter to her.

As Angela’s Personal Assistant, you will provide support with

• Preparing meals and drinks

• Light household tasks

• Supporting daily routines and personal assistance

• Attending appointments when required

• Providing companionship and encouragement with hobbies and interests

• Maintain a safe, comfortable home environment

Angela is a wheelchair user, and support will be tailored to her individual needs and preferences

Hours of work and rate of pay

The position offered is for 28 hours per week and the rate of pay £13.45 per hour.

Angela is looking for a Personal Assistant to join her small team of PA’s and work alongside them to provide support throughout the week.

Support is generally required across mornings, evenings and weekends.

Exact working patterns and shift arrangements can be discussed at interview and agreed to suit both Angelas support needs, and the availability of successful applicant.

This position may suit

• An individual looking for up to 28 hours per week or

• Applicants interested in sharing the hours as part of a job share agreement

About you

Angela is looking for someone who is

• Kind, patient and reliable

• Friendly and easy to get along with

• Respectful of her independence and choices

• Comfortable providing personal assistance and support with daily routines

• Flexible and dependable

• Able to use their own initiative when required

• A driver with a clean driving license is preferred

Previous experience in a care and support role is welcomed but not essential. A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
