Bank Specialist Speech & Language Therapist | Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust

The Bi-Borough Mainstream Schools Speech and Language Therapy Team is looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join the temporary bank workforce and provide support across mainstream schools in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

The successful candidate will work with school-aged children with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), supporting schools to deliver appropriate speech and language therapy provision.

• Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience working with school-aged children in mainstream schools and supporting children with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
• Strong knowledge of the UK EHCP process.
• Experience of writing EHCNA reports is essential.
• Experience delivering EHCP provision within schools is essential.
• Experience working with children with ASD and social communication differences is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, education staff and multidisciplinary teams.
