About this role

Job Advert

Operational HR Manager

Carey Care - Hill House Nursing Home, Kenley

About the role

HRCentral are supporting our client, Carey Care, to find an organised and approachable HR professional to support their managers

and employees in their lovely care homes in Surrey, which currently includes Hill House Care Home and Westside Care Home. This

role is on-site, primarily based at Hill House, Kenley.

This role would ideally suit an experienced HR Advisor or junior HR Manager, looking for an opportunity to grow their HR

experience in an environment where you can make a real difference with the day-to-day people processes that help Carey Care to

provide a safe, well-run and caring environment for their residents.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for a wide range of operational HR activities, including

* Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.

* Managing recruitment and onboarding processes, including pre-employment and DBS checks.

* Coordinating appraisals, supervision and performance feedback processes.

* Supporting managers with employee relations, attendance and performance matters.

* Supporting staff scheduling and rostering.

* Maintaining accurate HR records, training records, policies and documentation.

* Working closely with HRCentral, as Carey Care’s external HR consultancy, on more complex HR matters.

* Supporting the management team with wider operational and administrative requirements.

About you

You will be someone who has a solid HR background who is organised, practical and confident dealing with people at all levels.

We would welcome applications from experienced HR professionals who are keen to bring their skills into a care environment,

particularly if you have an appreciation and understanding of the employment context within a care home. This could have been

gained from a similar care setting, or within healthcare, an early years nursery or a hospitality setting that has a similar

rostering and scheduling structure.

CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience would be also desirable.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role will involve travelling between Hill House and other

locations.

If you are an experienced HR professional looking for a hands-on operational role, and would like to make a positive contribution

to the team at Carey Care, we would love to hear from you.
