About The Role
Shift Pattern
Early shift 6am - 3pm and late shift 1pm - 10pm
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining water quality standards across site attractions, ensuring all pools and rides operate safely and effectively for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine water quality testing, including monitoring and recording pH and chlorine levels.
- Respond promptly to ride and attraction callouts where water chemistry falls outside of acceptable parameters.
- Adjust and maintain water quality levels in line with operational and safety standards.
- Clean and empty strainer baskets to ensure efficient water circulation and filtration.
- Complete accurate daily water testing records and reports using a handheld PDA device.
- Assist in identifying and resolving water quality issues to minimise downtime and maintain guest safety.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and operation of pool plant systems.
Skills & Experience
-
Right to work in the UK.
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience in water testing and water quality monitoring.
- Basic plumbing knowledge and practical maintenance skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational callouts.
