Core Responsibilities Define and implement both low-level and high-level architecture, ensuring design consistency across systems and servicesOwn the complete product architecture lifecycle, from conceptual design through delivery and optimizationDesign and integrate microservices-based architectures, ensuring modular, scalable, and maintainable systemsSeamlessly wire together multiple technologies, platforms, and services into a cohesive ecosystemEnsure non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, and security are built into all solutionsDrive continuous modernization initiatives, reducing technical debt and improving system efficiencyEstablish and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with evolving business prioritiesEmbed product thinking into architecture decisions, focusing on customer experience and business valueUphold clean architecture principles, ensuring maintainability, reusability, and long-term sustainabilityTechnology Landscape Core backend stack includes Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architectureStrong exposure to event-driven systems using Kafka and caching mechanisms like RedisExperience integrating Python and AI/GenAI/Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise systemsFamiliarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure/GCP preferred), including migration and hybrid setupsCurrent platform operates in a large-scale global insurance ecosystem, with ongoing evolution toward cloud-native architectureStrong experience in architecting and designing a large scale global distributed product/systemSwift/Kotlin/Flutter/React and strong experience in architecting Mobile and Web applicationsLeadership & Stakeholder Management Lead the overall product architecture function, setting direction and governance standardsManage and mentor a team of Solution Architects, fostering technical excellence and growthAct as the senior-most technical authority, providing guidance on complex architectural decisionsCollaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader frameworks and standardsEngage with senior leadership (CIOs, CTOs, business heads) to translate strategy into technology executionDrive strong alignment between business, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless deliveryTechnical & Functional Expectations Deep expertise in backend and frontend architecture & design with a strong focus on mobile-first design principles with a strong focus on mobile-first design principlesWorking knowledge of full-stack ecosystems, including web, mobile, and backend integrationsProven experience in designing and scaling distributed systems in high-transaction environmentsStrong understanding of system design principles, including fault tolerance, observability, and performance optimizationHands-on knowledge of security practices, resilience engineering, and modern architectural patternsAbility to evaluate and introduce new technologies or innovative use cases for existing systems
