As a Remote Lead Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, you will combine expert clinical practice with leadership, supervision and service development responsibilities. You will deliver highquality, evidencebased CBT while leading on clinical governance, quality improvement and the ongoing development of remote mental health services, ensuring excellent outcomes for clients and an outstanding customer experience. Clinical responsibilitiesDeliver highquality CBT and lowintensity psychological interventions, supported by comprehensive assessment, formulation and evidencebased care planning.Provide therapy via remote delivery models, including telephone and video consultations, in line with client preferences and service pathways.Manage CBT and online CBT cases in line with Bupa's clinical pathways, sessional limits and private medical insurance allowances, working towards recoveryfocused goals.Provide signposting, onward referrals, oneoff assessments, wellbeing support and coaching as required.Deliver group psychoeducation, workshops and remote wellbeing training to promote mental health awareness and resilience. Leadership, supervision and governanceProvide clinical supervision, advice and consultation to therapists, ensuring high standards of clinical quality, safe practice and adherence to pathways.Attend and contribute to individual and group clinical supervision and monthly team meetings in line with professional and organisational requirements.Uphold and actively contribute to high standards of clinical governance, including clinical effectiveness, safety, risk management, incident management and continuous quality improvement.Conduct clinical audits, oversee complaint review and investigation activity, and support audit processes across the team.Ensure compliance with operational control standards including ISO, privacy and information security, Bupa quality standards, clinical governance frameworks and legal requirements. Service development and people leadershipContribute to the review, development and implementation of processes and protocols to support safe, effective and scalable remote service delivery.Support recruitment, interviewing, induction, training, mentoring, coaching and appraisal of team members.Lead and contribute to service line development, project work, process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop, review and contribute to business support and clinical materials.Work closely with operational managers and clinical leads to ensure outstanding clinical quality, commercial awareness and a consistently excellent customer experience.Work effectively within the wider Mental Health Support Team in a collaborative supervisory and leadership capacity. Qualifications, Skills & Experience EssentialPostgraduate Diploma in High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (BABCP accredited).Full BABCP accreditation.Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering highintensity CBT to workingage adults with a range of presentations.At least 6 months' experience delivering highintensity CBT to corporate clients.Strong performance record, demonstrating consistent effectiveness in role.Proven experience working within Bupa services, meeting or exceeding performance expectations. DesirableAdditional specialist psychological training or accreditation.Experience in leadership and advanced practice activities, such as supervision, coaching, mentoring, training, auditing or service development.Supervisor training and/or management or leadership experience. Key skills and experienceBroad experience within general adult mental health.Strong IT capability, including use of Microsoft systems and electronic clinical record systems.Ability to manage and prioritise complex workloads within demanding timeframes.Excellent clinical judgement, application of evidencebased practice and case management skills.Proven commitment to highquality customer service and client engagement.Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.Experience managing a caseload, working towards utilisation, outcome and performance targets.Highly organised, resilient and able to work autonomously within a fastpaced environment.Collaborative team player with strong problemsolving skills and commercial awareness.
