Southampton, Store Support Office
We believe anyone can improve their home to make life better. From our Southampton Store Support office (SSO) we equip our stores, our people, and our whole business with everything it takes to help our millions of customers create a home they’ll love. Join us as a Supply Chain & Logistics Insights Analyst and you’ll be a big part of this.
Behind every project, purchase and customer interaction there is a wealth of data that helps us understand what our customers need, what inspires them, and how we can create even better experiences.
We’re looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Insights Analyst to join our growing Analytics & Data Science team at an exciting time. Data is playing an increasingly important role across our operations, helping to optimise performance, improve efficiency, and support smarter decision-making across supply chain and logistics.
If you’re naturally curious, passionate about solving operational problems, and enjoy turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, we’d love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
The wider Analytics & Data Science team is growing to support more areas of the business. As part of this, we’re creating new analyst roles focused on Supply Chain & Logistics. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand real business challenges, translate them into analytical problems, and deliver insight that drives measurable impact - whether that’s improving availability, optimising stock flow, or enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Use data to uncover insights that drive better business decisions and improve supply chain and logistics performance
- Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling stories and actionable recommendations for operational stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting and analytical processes, improving efficiency and consistency
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Logistics and Commercial teams to understand challenges and support decision-making
- Tackle a wide range of problems, from performance optimisation to understanding availability drivers
- Deliver deep-dive analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities and areas for continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing and supporting decision-making at all levels
- Work collaboratively with analysts and data scientists to deliver scalable and impactful analytical solutions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and data-driven thinking across supply chain and logistics
Required skills & experience
- Experience working with Supply Chain and/or Logistics in an analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience in Python and/or R (desirable)
- Experience working in cloud-based data environments (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Proven ability to translate data into clear insights and compelling, actionable recommendations
- A track record of identifying opportunities to improve reporting and analytical processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across operational and commercial teams
- Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo to improve ways of working
- A proactive mindset — comfortable taking ownership, testing ideas, and driving improvements
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and integrity

As well as a competitive salary, our benefits package includes
- Award-winning pension scheme
