With a strong reputation for reliability and workmanship, we are looking to expand our client base and secure new long-term contracts.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy and win new business across London and Hertfordshire

This is a hands-on role focused on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and securing contracts within sectors such as property management, construction, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within commercial and residential sectors
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, housing associations, and facilities managers
  • Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and pricing solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Manage and grow key client accounts
  • Work closely with operations and estimating teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Attend networking events and represent the company in the market

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales (ideally within electric, heating, plumbing, construction, or FM sectors)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical services or building services (desirable)
  • Track record of winning new business and meeting targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
