Can you be the calm in a child's busy school day?

For a child with additional needs, the jump into primary school can be overwhelming. We are seeking a patient, creative, and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Tamworth. You will be the "go-to" person for a child (or small group) with needs such as Autism (ASD), Speech and Language delays, or Global Developmental Delay (GDD).

This is your chance to use play, patience, and visual aids to turn a "can't do" into a "can do."

What's in it for you?

  • The "Lightbulb"

-

Weekly Pay

Competitive daily rates, strictly adhered to, and paid every Friday via Randstad.

You understand that primary-aged children need time, repetition, and a lot of encouragement.

-

Are Imaginative

You can turn a sensory bin, a storybook, or a game into a powerful learning tool.

-

Have Experience

Whether you've worked in a nursery, a school, or have personal experience with SEND, your empathy is what matters most.

-

Are a Team Player

You can work closely with the Class Teacher and the SENCO to create a safe, inclusive space.
