Key Responsibilities
- Assess and plan individualised learning programmes for students with special educational needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support and develop comprehensive learning strategies
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students and foster their academic, social, and emotional development
- Maintain detailed records and regularly communicate student progress with parents/caregivers and relevant stakeholders
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education
- Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's SEN provision
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Extensive experience working with students who have special educational needs
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective, engaging, and inclusive lesson plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continuously improve your practice
- Flexibility, resilience, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset
