The Role

This rewarding overnight role is centred around delivering exceptional inpatient care and supporting medical and surgical emergencies for the practice’s own clients.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing high-quality overnight nursing and monitoring of inpatients
  • Assisting with emergency medical and surgical cases
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and recovering critical patients
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Supporting stock control and ensuring clinical areas are fully prepared
  • Delivering excellent communication and compassionate client care

This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys autonomy, emergency work and delivering outstanding care during the night.

Hours & Work Pattern

  • 7 nights on / 14 nights off

Shift times

6:30pm – 8:30am

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Out-of-hours care for the practice’s own clients only

This rota offers an exceptional work-life balance, with two full weeks off after every seven-night block.
