The NNUH hosts the busiest Emergency Department in the East of England seeing over 160,000 patients every year. Team NNUH are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate RCEM credentialed Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP).
Our team currently consists of 9 Credentialed ACPs and 10 tACPs who work across most areas of the Department in delivering a high standard of clinical care to our patients as an ACP, you will provide an autonomous, high quality, patient focused, efficient and comprehensive assessment of complex patients arriving into the Emergency Care within Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide advanced theoretical knowledge and specialist clinical skills in the care and management of patients.
As an RCEM Credentialed Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be a senior clinical decision-maker within the Emergency Department, delivering autonomous, high-quality care to patients with a wide range of undifferentiated and acute presentations. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients independently, initiate and interpret investigations, and develop treatment plans in line with best practice. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patient flow, contribute to safe and timely decision-making, and play a key role in improving patient outcomes. You will also be involved in clinical leadership, supervision, and teaching of junior staff, while contributing to service development, quality improvement, and the ongoing advancement of advanced practice within the department.
