Senior Support Worker – Care Home
Location - Ipswich, Suffolk
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our care team and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Administer or prompt medication as trained
- Maintain accurate care records
- Assist with care planning and reviews
- Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals
- Mentor and support Support Workers
- Report any concerns to senior staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior care role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good organisational and teamwork skills
- Caring and empathetic nature
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or working towards it
