Senior Support Worker – Care Home

Location - Ipswich, Suffolk

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our care team and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
  • Administer or prompt medication as trained
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Assist with care planning and reviews
  • Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals
  • Mentor and support Support Workers
  • Report any concerns to senior staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior care role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Good organisational and teamwork skills
  • Caring and empathetic nature

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or working towards it
