About the role

We are recruiting Production Operators to join our manufacturing team at Terram, playing a hands on role in producing high quality products for major UK construction and infrastructure projects.

You’ll be part of a small team of around 20 people, working together in a supportive and welcoming environment.

The role is within a 24/7 manufacturing operation, with a range of shift patterns available, including nights, offering flexibility and enhanced earning potential. Full training is provided, giving you the chance to learn new skills.

Salary

£ 25,720.00 - £33,075.00 per annum, depending on shift pattern and experience, with a 20% uplift for night shifts.

⏱️ Shift patterns

Terram operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and shift patterns may include

  • Day shifts 6AM-6PM
  • Night shifts 6PM-6AM
  • 4 on / 4 off patterns

  • Public transport options are limited outside standard hours, so access to a vehicle is preferred unless you live nearby.

✅ What you’ll be doing

  • Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Completing basic quality checks and recording information
  • Loading materials and supporting line changeovers
  • Reporting faults or issues promptly
  • Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
  • Working with your team to meet production targets

What we’re looking for

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and safety focused
  • Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and good communication skills

Qualifications & training

  • GCSEs – minimum requirement
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
  • Production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
