Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant. Listed below are details of the job and what tasks are involved. It is advisable to refer to these when submitting your application and advise of the days/hours you are available.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me to access the community and attend some social groups. I would like to meet new people and build relationships. You will also help me gain more independence and confidence with daily tasks including completing personal care, managing my finances and completing paperwork.

Essential· Male due to the personal care aspects of the role (Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010)· Flexible and reliable· Understanding and patient· Experience of dealing with anxiety

Summary Terms and Conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour· Hours and times of work as follows: 6 hours per week, to be agreed but ideally some hours on a Friday· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.

The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer· Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
