About this role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Wickford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, helping children thrive through engaging activities and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5 years
Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Support children’s emotional, social, and educational development
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
Build positive partnerships with parents and carers
Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Work effectively as part of a supportive nursery team
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Previous nursery experience preferred but not essential
