Carpenter

Typical duties include

-Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials

-Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, kitchens, flooring, and fitted furniture

-Constructing stud walls, partitions, roofs, staircases, and timber frameworks

-Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications

-Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

-Carrying out first fix and second fix carpentry works

-Repairing and maintaining existing wooden structures and fittings

-Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines

-Following site health and safety regulations at all times

-Working independently or alongside other trades on construction sites
