Transport Operator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Operator to join their busy and fast-paced operation based in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong administrative or transport background to step into a vital role within a well-established logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out accurate data entry and data checks to support transport operations
• Managing gatehouse duties, including vehicle and driver check-ins/outs
• Acting as a point of contact for drivers, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Conducting health and safety checks to maintain site compliance
• Supporting the wider transport team with administrative tasks as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or health & safety environment is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Confident communication skills, particularly when dealing with drivers and site personnel
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Good IT skills, including data entry systems
