As a Lead Support Worker, you'll play an important role in ensuring the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care. Working closely with your locality manager and assistant locality manager, you'll be supported while also becoming a trusted guide for your colleagues. This role blends hands-on support with leadership, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

Support is mainly 1

You'll help people build independence, develop new skills and make choices that reflect the life they want to live. Using approaches such as Activate and Active Support, you'll set meaningful goals and recognise the potential in everyday moments. You'll support with daily routines—from personal care and medication to meal preparation, shopping and maintaining a comfortable home—ensuring each person feels respected and involved in their own support.
Alongside this, you'll play a key part in coaching and mentoring support workers. You'll share good practice, offer mindful feedback and help create a positive, inclusive team culture. You'll contribute to reviews, support continuous improvement and work in line with Dimensions' values, policies and regulatory standards. Building strong relationships with families, circles of support and colleagues will be central to your role..
