The Role
You'll deliver fun, energetic sessions as part of Wraparound Care, breakfast clubs, lunchtime activities and after-school clubs working with children aged 4 to 11 across two schools - Thorndon CofE VC Primary and St Peter and St Paul CofE VA Primary.
This is extracurricular and activity-led, not curriculum PE -so it's all about engagement, energy and getting kids moving and loving sport.

What your day looks like
Breakfast clubs
7:45am - 8:45am
Lunch clubs
12:15pm - 1:15pm
After-school clubs
3:15pm - 4:30pm
Approximately 20 hours per week. They are also optional holiday camp sessions available during school breaks for those who want additional hours and earnings.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering planned, structured sports sessions during wraparound care
Leading games and physical activities for children aged 4–11
Managing behaviour and keeping children actively engaged
Creating a safe, positive and energetic sporting environment
Supporting breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs with activity-led provision

Due to our safeguarding and Ofsted requirements, we're unable to progress applications without all of the following
Level 2 Sports coaching qualification (minimum)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Aged 18 or over
Experience working with primary school-aged children
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
