We are working with a warm and welcoming nursery in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to be part of a setting that places equal value on children's development and staff wellbeing.

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
• Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to individual needs and interests
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning and development records
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
• Has a genuine passion for working with young children
• Brings a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
• Has a good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (training can be provided)
• Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
